“It is truly a scary time"

When I got to work on Monday 10/9 I was just so sad! In my morning report, I was surprised and disappointed that the administrator did not mention anything out 10/7. Though he is not Jewish, he acknowledges other things — usually fun things, but still. My Jewish coworker did say something. But still felt like no one else really acknowledged what had happened etc. I struggle there at times, so it didn’t feel comfortable to say" let’s have a moment of silence" or just say anything. I wish I had the courage to do so. I just acknowledged my coworker. There are about 10-12 people in room and we were the only 2 Jewish people. It is truly a scary time.
